Cabins and spa in Antigua Guatemala. We are a wellness retreat nestled in nature 15min from the center. Our name “BOSCO” means forest or woods in Italian and that is the feeling you get when staying with us.

Our BOSCO cabins are a unique expression of thoughtful design combining Japanese Zen aesthetic with Scandinavian functionality. Clean lines, cozy interiors and attention to detail is what defines us.
BOSCO
BOSCO CABIN IN THE WOODS
The space features 2 cabins on 2 levels
The main cabin (lower level) hosts the kitchen/lounge area with large sliding doors opening up to the terrace boasting breathtaking views of the volcanoes Fuego and Acatenango. The kitchen is fully equipped and has been spaciously designed to grant you an ultimate cooking experience.
There is an inside fire place as well as an outside fire-pit – perfectly designed to grant you cozy nights.
The second cabin on the upper level is for sleeping. Inside is a queen-sized bed as well as a unique bathroom with Japanese ofuro-style bathtub. Adjacent you will find the yoga/lounge deck and the private spa area.
A hammock can be hung outside under the trees – perfect for lulling into sleep.
The private outdoor spa features a traditional wood-burning Finnish sauna, fresh mountain-water plunge pool and outdoor shower.

CORK CABIN IN THE WOODS
CORK is an open space with a fully equipped kitchen and a table for 2. A cozy lounge area with an open fireplace, a wooden platform with a queen-sized bed and a spacious spa bathroom.
The cabin’s main sliding doors open to a pergola with an outside fire-pit and onto a beautiful wabi-sabi garden with a spectacular view of the Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes as well as the private spa area.
For a quiet retreat in the green, a hammock can be hung between the trees – perfect for lulling into sleep.
The private outdoor spa features a Mongolian yurt-style sauna, fresh mountain-water plunge pool and outdoor massage shower.

Our spa is one of a kind in Guatemala – nestled in nature and completely private.
We have two spa areas – a Finnish and a Mongolian yurt-style sauna – each with stunning volcano views and each with their own fresh and chlorine-free mountain-water plunge pool and outdoor shower.
For the Mayan people, as well as for North American tribes and Scandinavians, saunas have always represented the cleansing of body and soul. The primary purpose of the sauna is to warm up the body and detoxify. A sauna bath helps to prevent colds, soften up tense muscles and alleviate pain, exhaustion and depression.

ALL CARD PAYMENTS have a surcharge of 10% (taxes + transaction fees).
CABIN Cancellation Policy – To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 14 days before check-in – after that there will be no refund! For particular situations, we may allow re-bookings (one time only) for the same amount at a later time within a 3 month period. Please be advised that re-bookings are subject to availability and seasonal rate adjustments.
SPA Payment/Cancellation Policy – To confirm your spa reservation, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required. This deposit secures your booking and compensates our external service providers, who reserve their time specifically for each appointment.
Payment Terms SPA
- Cabin Guests: Guests who stay in our cabins get a 10% discount on our spa packages (see spa menu). A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance may be paid in cash before your spa appointment or via payment link. Payments made by payment link/card are subject to a 10% processing fee.
- Day Spa Guests: Full payment is required in advance via payment link to confirm your reservation. Payments made by payment link/card are subject to a 10% processing fee. The non-refundable 25% deposit is included within the total payment.
Cancellation & Changes – We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will receive a refund of any amount paid, minus the non-refundable 25% deposit and any processing fees.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment and no-shows are non-refundable.
- For cabin guests, any outstanding balance due for appointments cancelled within 24 hours will still be charged.
Outdoor Spa & Weather Policy – Our spa experiences take place in nature (the sauna and cold plunge are outdoors, while treatments are under a covered area) and are therefore weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we will always prioritize rescheduling your experience to another suitable time.
As our external service providers reserve their time specifically for each booking, the 25% deposit and any processing fees remain NON-refundable. If rescheduling is not possible, any remaining balance will be refunded.
Cabin Capacities – The cabins are for 2 people (queen-sized beds). In the bigger cabin BOSCO, we can accommodate 2 more single beds in the living area (sofa beds) and at the CORK, we can accommodate 1 more single bed (same room) at an additional cost. If you have children, please inquire with us in advance.
We only use our fresh mountain-water without any chemicals or chlorine for all our water on our property and for our drinking water (filtered).
Our soap/shampoo/body cream provided is 100% natural and hand-crafted. A true bliss for the senses!
Vegan/Vegetarian preferred and for hygiene reasons, we only offer coffee, tea, some sugar and salt/pepper. Please bring everything needed for cooking like oil, etc. You can also order food if you prefer.
No pets allowed
No parties – this is a quiet space to regenerate in nature
Limited private parking on premises
The owner, Nieve was extremely helpful and kind, it gave us the right amount of information, and then we had the place for our own.
The staff it’s also super kind and professional, our driver pick us up at our air bnb, and we only paid 100Q. For back and forth ride, it was easy.
Overall we highly recommend the sauna and definitely any other option the place is offering I’m sure it’s worth the experience.
